Gaz Candy Pistachio Nougat is an Iranian nougat that originated in Isfahan. It is widely known as Persian Nougat in American and European countries. However, it turned out that gaz-angebin is, in fact, an exudate of an insect called tamarisk manna scale, which inhabits that specific kind of tree.
