The swamp barb or Chola barb, Puntius Chola, is a tropical freshwater fish belonging to the subfamily Cyprinidae of the family Cyprinidae. This is a genus of small freshwater fish in the family Cyprinidae native to South Asia and Mainland Southeast Asia, and Taiwan.
