Jackfruit is a tropical fruit, botanically known as Artocarpus heterophyllus. Jackfruit is the largest tree-borne fruit globally. It is ellipsoidal and aggregate, composed of multiple “bulbs” of seed-containing flesh around a stringy core, enclosed by a bumpy rind.
