Literally meaning “three fruits”, triphala is a traditional Ayurvedic herbal formulation consisting of three fruits native to the Indian subcontinent: Amla (Dried Emblic, Phyllanthus Emblica), Bahera (Beleric, Terminalia Belerica) and Bari Har (Chebulic Myrobalan, Terminalia Chebula).
