This recipe is similar to the way my local Chinese Take Out restaurant makes it. The vegetables and sauce ingredient ratios are up to you. The noodles can be substituted with your favorite thin pasta as well.

Ingredients,

  • 250 gms Boneless chicken
  • 2 tbs Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbs Sugar
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbs Corn flour
  • 2 tbs Oil
  • 1 tbs Chopped garlic
  • 3 tbs Chicken stock
  • 1/2 Cup julienne cut carrot
  • 1/2 Cup shredded cabbage
  • 2 tbs Scallions (Onion white)
  • 250 gms Chowmein Noodles ( boiled with salt)
  • 1/2 Cup Scallions ( Onion green)
  • 3 tbs Ketcup

Steps to make it,

  • In bowl, add below ingredients, and mix it well to make a sauce
    • Soya sauce
    • Sesame oil
    • Sugar
    • Black pepper
    • Corn flour 
  • In wok, heat oil 
  • Add chopped garlic and give it a stir
  • Now add the chicken strips & sauce, mix it well and give a stir for 15 sec
  • Add below ingredients, and keep stirring it
    • Chicken stock
    • Carrot
    • Shredded cabbage
    • Scallion
    • Chowmein noodles
  • Add ketchup and mix it well

It's ready to be served!
